MUSICAL FEATURES

Signos is an extremely versatile 2-channel analog utility/waveshaper that can process both CV and audio.

Each of the two channels in X and Y, mirrored layouts, has a classic unipolar VCA with normal and inverted outputs, a bipolar VCA also known as a polarizer/four-quadrant multiplier, and a manual VCA from -2V to +5V. LEDs that indicate the offset voltage and signal status for each channel.

The sum of X and Y and the bipolar VCA output of each channel plus the offset value (X+offset and Y+offset) are sent to the logic and waveshaper circuits.

  • AND analog logic gate: outputs the minimum value of X+offset and Y+offset.
  • OR Analog logic gate: Outputs the maximum of X+offset and Y+offset.
  • MODE waveshaper: expresses modulo arithmetic with a CV modulator and waveshaper. X+offset and Y+offset affect different parts of this circuit.
  • SHIFT waveshaper: Originally designed for pitch shifting a sawtooth wave up an octave, it can do interesting waveform manipulations for all kinds of signals.
