MUSICAL FEATURES

Drezno II is an updated version of 'Drezno', a required module of Xaoc Devices 8-bit Leibniz Binary Subsystem. Leibniz Subsystem is a collection of modules that operate on eight binary (on/off, two-state) signals. These signals are arranged as 8-bit digital data and can represent analog signals, voltages, clocks, gates, rhythms, etc.

Drezno is equipped with an ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) and a DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter), allowing it to function as an analog front end for the system. That is, it is possible to convert analog signals and CV to digital values, and obtain analog signals from digital values, and between these two types of conversion, it is possible to realize all kinds of signal conversion and modulation. The world of digital technology is expanding.

Drezno's ADCs and DACs can be used independently or in conjunction. The analog signal input/output range can be adjusted using the Gain and Offset sliders. The ADC bit output and DAC bit input can be cross-patched with a high degree of freedom, allowing you to create complex waveforms and rhythms. The high-speed clock (up to 2MHz) used during conversion can be replaced by any external clock (set individually for each section).

Drezno II features a new converter with higher resolution than its predecessor, resulting in a lower noise floor and higher accuracy. The stability of the lower bits has also been improved. Drezno can quantize pitch voltage in steps of 128 or 256 semitones for accurate results. Potentiometers are factory calibrated for accurate chromatic scale. A new switch on the front panel allows you to select a calibration range of 10Vpp or 20Vpp, with the least significant bit or second bit corresponding to one semitone.
