Tiptop Audio FSU is a multi-effects unit that offers 3 banks of aggressive and destructive effects, including effect pedal-inspired distortion, granular processing, and tape recorder-style Sound on Sound looping.This unit uses the same platform as the ECHOZ, ZVERB, and Z5000, and has a compact and easy-to-use interface that allows you to control all three DSP parameters with CV and the DSP clock with Fidelity.In addition, this unit can convert a static monaural signal into a vast stereo field signal in a creative way.

HOW TO USE

The FSU's compact interface includes three illuminated buttons used to select effects, knobs and CV inputs to control three DSP parameters, a Fedility control to control the DSP clock, and a signal input jack. It has an attenuator, stereo output and Dry / Wet control.The built-in effects are divided into three banks, DISTORTION, GLITCH / WARP, and SOUND ON SOUND, each of which stores eight algorithms.The selected effect is shown below with three illuminated buttons.

Basically, Gain controls the final output level of the DISTORTION bank and the recording level of the SOS bank, Rate controls the modulation depth or a similar parameter, Filter (Feedback) controls the cutoff frequency or the amount of feedback, Depth controls the modulation range or the depth of the delay tap or grain read from the buffer, and Drive controls the gain amount of the distortion effect.
