Babel is a unique CV/audio processor built with analog circuitry. It has three inputs and three outputs, and the number of inputs can be increased by chaining expanders. Babel applies an operation to the input signal, extending the logic to a continuous voltage before outputting the result. The operation differs for each output, as follows:

"ANY" is synonymous with Max and outputs the highest voltage among the inputs. This is equivalent to an OR operation when the input is a gate signal of 0 or (for example) 5V. "ALL" is synonymous with Min and outputs the lowest voltage among the inputs. This is equivalent to an AND operation when the input is a gate signal of 0 or (for example) 5V.

What's particularly unique about Babel is its "XSOME" output, which is an operation that extends the exclusive OR (XOR) operation used in gate signals to continuous voltages. It compares Any and (C - (All - C)) and outputs the smaller voltage. The output changes depending on the value of the parameter C, which can be controlled by a knob and CV.

As a feature of the output of XSOME, it can be expected to output an intermediate value between the maximum and minimum for the input signal. C is the point that defines the middle.Also, if you input multiple audios, you can get an effect similar to AM or ring modulation.
