It is an adapter that allows you to use 5V on the power bus such as Doepfer.
It is an adapter that allows you to use modules that use 5V voltage on the power bus such as Doepfer. Please check each product detail page to see if each module uses 5V.
If your power supply does not supply voltage to the 5V rail, you can attach one to the socket on the bus board to supply 1V to all modules connected to that power supply.
