MUSICAL FEATURES

Sealegs' design goal was to create a delay module that would make any audio sound as warm, musical and organic as possible.for that, tape,BBD,crossfade digitalWe modeled the acoustic characteristics of three different types of delay circuits, and made it possible to switch between them.

It is possible to create a wide variety of delay sounds with complete control necessary for delay, numerous modulation waveforms, and timbre creation with filters, color control, overdrive, etc.It also features a reroutable reverb, designed for traditional "spatial" effects like dub echo for synth final stages and sends.

Features

  • for each modelColor, modulation, and saturation/limiting possible3 unique delay models
  • 3 stereo settings (PONG, L/R, Time/Width)
  • Envelope follower and wow flutter can also be selectedVariable waveform modulator
  • Gorgeous, routable 1970s styleReverb
  • Introduce Hiss and CracklenoiseControl
  • for filtered repetitionsHigh passLow pass filterEquipped with
  • Input with level trimdrive
  • for holding and looping the contents of the delayFreeze function by model
  • Delay time up to 6 seconds (L channel) and 8 seconds (R channel, because Width can increase Time by 33%)
  • 9 CV inputs (with attenuverter), one of which isCan be assigned
  • Stable external clock sync (or tap tempo)
  • 96kHz, 32-bit stereo floating point processing

How To Use

Although Sealegs is a digital module, it consists of a very intuitive and easy-to-understand interface without menu navigation. The sliders on the panel are delay action settings on the left, modulation settings in the middle, and tone settings such as color and filters on the right.CV controlIs also possible.

You can switch between 3 types of modes that are key to the tone with the MODE switch. The Color parameter controls the intensity of that timbre's character. Color degrades the sound musically in any mode, but how it degrades differs from mode to mode and is characteristic of the mode.

  • tapeMode is a vintage tape echo emulation, Color controls tape degradation
  • BBDThe mode is an emulation of a bucket bridge-style delay, and the color controls the strength of the BBD-specific sound deterioration and clock instability.
  • Digital The mode is an emulation of a vintage digital delay, and the degree of digital deterioration such as bit rate and sample rate reduction is controlled by Color. No pitch change when changing delay time in digital mode
