MUSICAL FEATURES

Amps is a two-channel sophisticated linear VCA that offers a multitude of functions.With panel controls and signal normalization, Amps has been carefully engineered to act as a line-level booster, crossfader, ring modulator, mixer, and more besides a regular VCA.Furthermore, if you connect Amps with the included cables, you can build a larger VCA mixer system.

• CV attenuator with dual color LEDs for convenient monitoring of bipolar CV signals

How To Use

In addition to the basic controls of a VCA, each channel of the Amps is also equipped with switches and internal wiring, and by using these you can achieve a variety of functions.

The slider is a bias control, controlling the output level when CV=0.The output level CV control has an attenuator to control the effect of the CV.

There are two switches for each channel, and the upper switch is for signalBoostis possible.The middle position is unity gain and the left position is +6dB.The right position is +20dB, perfect for bringing line levels up to modular levels.The lower switch is a polarity switch, and when set to the "-" position, the input CV can be applied in the negative direction, which is useful for crossfaders and panning patches.

Chaining

Amps can configure a multi-channel VCA mixer by connecting the rear connectors with the included cable.Also, when connected, all internal connections are valid across modules.Using the output as an example, if you don't patch the output of a certain Amps, the output will flow to the neighboring Amps.
