Mindphaser is the next generation complex oscillator.Its dual oscillator architecture is based on the principles of complex oscillators, but features modern circuitry that expands on them with a unique twist.
Mindphaser follows the basic structure of a complex oscillator, generates sound through dual VCO cores called carrier and modulator, and can perform modulation between oscillators using a modulation bus (ModBus).And internal modulation can be easily performed via the unique Thru-Zero Phase Modulation (TZ-PM) bus that has been added separately.Additionally, the sound is shaped by a series of tools included in Waveshaper before reaching the final output.
Complex oscillators such as MindphasermodulatorとCareersIt is equipped with two oscillators, and in addition to being able to use the two independently, it also has a modulator that allows you to easily modulate various parameters of the carrier oscillator.
In Mindphaser, first determine the signal to be used for modulation in the Modbus section, and also set the overall signal magnitude (index).Index can be controlled by CV.The signal used for modulation is normally used by switching the waveform from the modulator, but if you patch it to the Source jack, it will be overwritten to use that signal.All of the CV inputs marked with a triangle in the carrier oscillator parameters are internally connected to modulation signals from Modbus, and simply raising the attenuator will apply modulation from Modbus to that parameter.Since various parameters can be modulated simultaneously without patching, it is possible to generate a wide variety of sounds.
In addition to the Mod Bus, Mindphaser also includes a phase modulation bus.It is used only to modulate the phase parameter of the carrier, and uses the same mechanism as Mod Bus for modulation source selection and indexing.
