The hugely popular Cooper FX Generation Loss, and the Limited Edition Generation Loss Limited, a collaboration between Cooper FX and Chase Bliss.Generation Loss mkII, released by Chase Bliss after those releases, is the ultimate tape simulator that takes the endless exploration of tape sound to an artistic level.
While the previous model was a device that freely created lo-fi sounds by combining filters and vibrato, the Generation Loss mkII aims to completely reproduce tape media with higher precision.
It reproduces the sounds and characteristics of all tape machines, including VCRs (video tapes), voice recorders, cassette decks, and even recorder-type toys.Each model has individual EQ characteristics and is modeled by analyzing the frequency response from actual hardware.
Classic, tape-like off-kilter pitch bend, random and unstable vibrato WOW.Flutter imparts a texture that creates a sense of presence with the quick flutter characteristic of tape. Equipped with two modulations, you can explore the best vibration to suit your taste.
Blending the two creates a familiar sentimental expression.When used alone, you can also create randomized vibrato and dripping chorus sounds.
