BASTL INSTRUMENTS' 1983 is a polyphonic MIDI to CV interface with creative voice allocation and auto-tuning. It has 4 channels of LISTEN input, CV & GATE output, and analyzes the waveform of a connected external oscillator. Simply press the TUNE button to "auto-tune" each oscillator across 7 octaves to instantly respond correctly to MIDI notes. It also supports custom tuning (such as just intonation) other than equal temperament (A=440Hz) by making fine adjustments using the µTune function.

また、4チャンネルのCV/GATE出力は様々なレイアウト（4ボイス、3+1ボイス、2ベロシティボイス、4×1ボイス、1ボイス、8ゲート、8 CC、4トリガー＋ベロシティ、パフォーマンス・クォンタイザー）を用途に合わせて設定できます。Furthermore, if you use the 4 CV inputs, you can also use it as a creative "arpeggiator/sequencer".

All 1983 settings can be saved as 10 different presets.

In QUANTIZER mode, the four CV inputs (QA, QB, QC, QD) can be used as quantizer CV inputs. In this mode, BASTL 4 can be used as a 1983-channel performance quantizer. The quantizer scale is determined by playing MIDI notes legato. Or you can edit it in LEARN mode.
