MUSICAL FEATURES

The L-1 Discrete Dual VCF is a dual SVVCF module that uses the Discrete Blacksea VCA circuit.

The two filters, which can be configured serially or in parallel, each have a 2-pole characteristic, and each characteristic can also be set individually from low-pass / high-pass / band-pass. In addition to the 2V / Oct response CV control input and resonance CV input, it is also equipped with an attenuator and an FMCV input with an attenuator.By mounting an overdrive circuit on the input stage, it is possible to raise or distort the level of the input signal.

The frequency is always the same for the two filters.For example, if you set both to low-pass and connect them serially, you will get a 2-pole low-pass output from OUT A and a 2-pole low-pass output from OUT B.When connected in parallel, it functions as a stereo filter that shares parameters such as cutoff.

Like other L-1 modules, the signal path designed with only high-quality components achieves extremely soft sound quality.As a back-end filter, it gives various sources an analog presence and warmth.
