MUSICAL FEATURES

Hertz Donut III is a powerful digital complex equipped with a modulation matrix of a 3x4 decathorn, a modulation matrix of 3x4. In addition to the frequency, the primary observer creates a basic waveform by controlling the three parameters: Phase Distortion, Umbrage, and Resonance .In addition, the modulation of these parameters by the two modulation orators (the operator) can produce a very colored sound. You can also remember the settings for the combination of modulation as a preset and then either morphing or save the preset. From baseline to stone, glass, steel, and industrial mechanical sound,

Other features are as follows:
  • Synthesis full utilization of FM and Phase Distortion
  • 8 1 V / Oct input resistant to changes in octaves
  • The Thru Zero FM, which extends the definition of the FM by reversing the wave form at frequency <0, is used.External FM input
  • Modulation matrix settings using the slider
  • Parameter selection using the buttons
  • Friendtable 128x32 OLED displays can also display modulation and menu settings in addition to the scale and frequency of the display.
  • Two internal sign-wave operators that can be used for modulation can be used to fix the frequency of the primary oscillator and the frequency of the frequency.
  • 96kHz Sample

How to Use

Primary Oscillator Section

The Primary Oscillator section controls the basic settings of the tilator, which is the main output.coarse frequency knob, small frequency knob is set to the base frequency. In addition to the frequency, three parameters can be set: Phase Distortion, Umbrage, and Resonance through Fold knob. After selecting the parameter from the Fold Select button, set it to Fold knob.If you select any other parameter, the value of the parameter that was previously controlled is locked, but you can control it using CV.The Fold CV allows you to set which parameters to control from the CV Destination on the Osirator menu.

You can press the encoder while you press the Fold Select button to access the settings menu for the Ossator.
  • Octave: Shifts the frequency of the octave in the range of ±2 octaves, in units of 1 octave
  • Unison: Set the presence or absence of unison, while pressing the encoder while pressing the OP B button to adjust the dachone
  • CV Dest: Select Fold parameters that you want to control with Fold CV from Phase Distortion, Umbrage, Resonance.

Modulation Operator Section

Hertz Donut Mk3 consists of two modularized orators (operators), each of which can be modularized without a coaching for four parameters, and the settings can be saved as a preset. The modulation of each parameter-is set in the Modulation Mixer section below. In addition to Course Tune / Fine Tune knobs, the A and B operator sections contain a 1V / Oct input, an FM input with an atine-batter, an operator setting, and a menu button that is used to set the Modulation / Modulation Matrix ..

You can select the frequency mode of the operator from the menu: You can access the operator's menu by pressing the encoder and pressing the operator button.
  • Quantize: Selects whether the frequency of the operator is the frequency of the Primary Oscillator and whether it is to be quarted. In the case of a quota, the modulation of a variety of modulation makes it difficult to produce dissonant sounds, and the modulation can be modularated. As the pitch feels. In the case of a quota, operator Course Tune knob controls the frequency of the Operator and Primary Oscillator frequencies.Fine Tune knob allows you to shift frequencies continuously from that frequency, and you can deviate the frequency of the operator from the integer ratio slightly.
  • Follow: Quantaise is not done, but the operator's Coarse Tune knob controls the frequency ratio of the operator and the primary observer in a continuous range, rather than an absolute frequency. In accordance with the frequency change in the primary orocator, the change in frequency has the effect of keeping the tone constant constant.
  • Free: The operator's frequency is independent of the primary or the primary, regardless of the primary frequency.
  • AB Link: Operator B frequencies are in the mode of operator A frequency.
External Input
Operator B has no 1V / Oct input, and instead the External Signal Input is provided. The signals entered here are treated as one of the modulation sources, like the operator in the Modulation Mixer section below, and can be used as an internal modulation source for each parameter to save the modulation amount to the preset.

And when you press the encoder and press the Ext IN button,Global Options Menucan be opened, including the sign of the Coarse / Fine-knob inversion, the preset CV setting, and the setting of AUX Output.

Modulation Mixer Section

The modulation mixer section sets the modulation amount to be applied from three sources to four parameters of an operator A / B and an External In signal. When you decide which modulation source to set first, press the corresponding button to adjust the modulation of the four modulus to the slider.Since the large "MOD" knob is the master control of the whole modulation, set it after the knob is turned right. If you subsequently select a different modulation source, the modulation of the previous modulation source will be locked.

The modulation point is basically on the panel. At the time of operator A, "Operator Frequency" is the modulation amount from operator A to operator B frequencies. The frequency modulation of an operator is more susceptible to caotic results, so the micromodulation of the modulation can be better controlled. When the modulation of EXT IN is set, the modulation of "Operator Frequency" and "Phase Distortion" is the modulation of the OP B, and cannot be modularized from EXT IN to Phase Distortion.
