MUSICAL FEATURES

X is a ring modulator that performs output multiplexed by X and Y inputs from W. He is very good at analog and warm metallic ring modulation sound and can also be used as a VCA with overdrive.

All final knobs and switches are related to X input.The final X signal (the signal multiplexed by Y) is the signal with an Offset voltage after the input signal to X is attenuated according to Level.Thus, if you make Level=0 and turn offset from the middle to the right, the Y signal itself is attenuated and output from the W output.If offset is turned from the middle to the left, the Y signal is reversed and attenuated to output.If you want to flip the X input , use the Inv switch, and if you raise the Level from 0 here, the ring modulation sound that X and Y are rolled by the original sound (input Y) will be mixed.

The Level knob can boost the X input as well as the attenuated.When boosted to some extent, the X-input signal clips and becomes a warm overdrive sound.It is also possible to clip only the upper side of the X-input signal and only the lower side by adding Offset.

The EXP switch converts the input to X into exponential characteristics and always multiplies the Y signal as a positive signal.If you enter an envelope, etc., you can also use it as an offset-based exponential VCA with the Level control as an attenuator .
