Ciat-Lonbarde PeterlinA standalone semi-modular synthesizer reinterpreted by Ciat-Lonbarde, inspired by the chaotic synthesizer Benjolin designed by Rob Hordijk.

Peterlin (Benjolin) consists of two VCOs, one state variable filter and a unique "Rungler" circuit.By combining these with each other, it is possible to create chaotic sound movements, from momentary changes to slowly changing sound patterns.

The filter features a unique tube-like distortion, boosted resonance, and is most noticeable when both the A and B oscillators are running in the audio range.

HOW TO USE

The Rungler is an 8-step shift register that uses oscillator A as the signal input and oscillator B as the clock.The output of the shift register is a stepped voltage of varying speed and range, fed back to the pitch of oscillators A and B.Modulation to the filters is also possible, and the amount of these feedbacks can be controlled with a knob.

Interface

Ciat-Lonbarde's banana synthesizer inputs cold colors such as blue and green, and outputs warm colors such as red, orange, and yellow.Even if you don't know the details of how to operate it, you can experiment with what happens by patching from output to input to create a new playing experience.

There are mini jacks on the front and back of the side, each for the input to the filter and the main stereo output.A stereo output will have the same signal for left and right.
