Rostock is a data pipeline,FIFO (first in-first out) shift register or very short digital delay.A component of the Leibniz Binary Subsystem, this module works similarly to a BBD delay or an ASR (analog shift register), except it is digital.
Restock consists of a chain of memory cells that pass bits each clock cycle, and the delay time is variable from 1 to 64 stages (with optional looping and scrambling). It works by processing data from the Leibniz bus and must be connected to other Leibniz modules using the data ribbon cable on the back.
Restock can change bits very quickly (up to 2MHz), making it ideal for rhythm, control voltage, and audio rate signals.or even video signals. It is also possible to loop the memory digitally.
Delays and loops are the basic building blocks for automating sequences, generating patterns and chaos, and various cybernetic modular patches, making Rostock a versatile open-ended device for creative thinking. Masu.
