SoundStage II is a 21-input stereo mixer module that allows you to create a stereo mix simply by patching sound sources.The placement of each input corresponds to its position in the stereo field in the left and right horizontal directions, and its frequency response in the vertical direction.The input signal is filtered by 20 carefully tuned analog resonant -12 dB/Oct Sallen-Key filters, so that higher jacks pass higher frequencies and lower jacks pass lower frequencies. Provides appropriate clarity.
Filtering depth and output level each have dedicated controls and bipolar CV inputs, allowing for creative uses such as sidechain compression and rhythmic filtering.The fixed stereo pan position is designed to give a wide stereo image for high-frequency voices and a solid stereo image for low-frequency voices.
In addition, as an improvement over the previous model, it has a stereo FX send/return, and the send outputs a 100% filtered (corresponding to Depth = 100%) mix signal.In addition to returning effects, the return can also be used for stereo mixer chaining.
