MUSICAL FEATURES

Pique isMutable Instruments Peaks4-channel trigger processor cloned and compacted to 2HP.
Added functions to the original firmware and became 23 modesDead Man's CatchFirmware is pre-installed.
By connecting the Pique CV Expander (sold separately) on the board side, you can add CV control inputs with attenuverters to all knobs.

Dead Man's Catch FIRMWARE

4 basic functions in the official farm

  • ADSR
  • LFO
  • Tap LFO
  • Drum

and 4 Alternative functions

  • Mini step-sequencer
  • Trigger delay/Shaper
  • Trigger stream randomizer
  • Digital drum synthesis

A total of 8 modes are installed, but the Dead Man's Catch firmware adds 2 to 5 alternative functions to the basic functions, making it a multifunctional module with a total of 23 modes.
The basic function works the same as the official firmware, with one exception: the hi-hat model that was accessible from TRIG 1's snare drum has become an independent mode and the execution sample rate has been changed, so the sound has changed.

HOW TO USE

Each Pique function has in common that it receives a trigger signal and produces a CV or audio signal. Manual triggering with a button with LED is also possible.

There are three modes for controlling two channels, and you can switch between them with the SPT (SPLIT) button. To enter Expert Mode, hold down the SPT button to toggle.

  • Twin (SPT LED off): Channels 1 and 2 share the parameters of Knobs 1-4, but are separate triggers.
  • Split (SPT LED lit): Channel 1 is controlled by knobs 1 and 2, Channel 2 is controlled by knobs 3 and 4.
  • Expert (SPT LED blinking): Channels 1 and 2 are controlled completely independently of parameters and triggers. The channel can be switched by pressing the SPT button for a short time, and the LED blinking indicates the channel currently being edited. When it blinks once, it's channel 1, and when it blinks twice, it's channel 1.

Mode switching of the function is performed by two types of operation: short press and long press of the button at the bottom of the four LEDs.
A short press will cycle through the Alternative functions within the currently selected basic function, and a long press will cycle through the basic functions, with one LED lit and several LEDs flashing to indicate the current mode.
The correspondence between the lighting of the LED and the mode is as follows.
