TIRANA II is compact
Chain available4 step gate / CV sequencer. It has Direction and Reset inputs, modulation of melody by Transpose input,
Step repeat function,
Ratchet function,
Clock divideIt also has functions such as, and produces a variety of sequences from a few steps.
Repeat / ratchet function
Repeat is a function that stays in the same step a specified number of times and outputs the gate every clock when the gate is ON. The ratchet stays for only one clock in one step, but it is a function that hits the gate a specified number of times during one clock.
To specify these, first press and hold the button of the step for which you want to specify repeat or ratchet, and then release
- Repeat: Press the step button corresponding to the number of times (step 3 button for 3 repeats)
- Ratchet: Press and hold the step button corresponding to the number of times

Trigger / gate switching
The output from GATE OUT can be switched by trigger or gate by long-pressing buttons 1 and 4. The gate length when the gate is selected is the same as the input clock gate length.
Adjust reset timing
In the sequencer, if the reset signal is input prior to the clock signal, it may start from step 2 when it is reset. Therefore, Tirana II can give latency to the reset signal. To set the latency, turn on the power while pressing button 1,
- Latency = 0.35 ms
- Latency = 0.7 ms
- Latency = 1.4 ms (default)
- Latency = 2.8 ms

When chaining, remove the jumpers except Tirana used as a master, and connect the units with the attached 10-pin ribbon cable (included). The loop wire connecting the master and the final slave (red line below) is only needed when chaining Tirana I (pre-2016 model) and Tirana II (Tirana I needs to chain with Tirana II Firmware update required, please contact us for instructions). Clock / Reset / Transpose / Direction etc. are patched to the jack of the master unit. The settings for each step are made using the knobs and buttons on each unit.
