MUSICAL FEATURESSoundStage is a 21-input mixer. The arrangement in stereo and the response of the built-in filter change for each input, and the position of the jack (upper and lower corresponds to frequency response, left and right correspond to stereo arrangement) reflects each response. With Depth, you can control the global strength of each filtering effect with the knob and CV. Level controls the output volume with the knob and CV. It is assumed that the volume of each channel can be controlled before inputting into SoundStage, and SoundStage itself focuses on the function to make each sound well mixed and clear in the entire soundscape.
In order to obtain a natural stereo effect, the panning is designed to become weaker at lower frequencies, which is reflected in the input jack layout (the width of the jack layout becomes smaller toward the bottom). There are also 21 input jacks that can be used to properly segment the sound field, but not all jacks are intended for input at the same time. Clipping may occur if the number of inputs is too large, so take measures such as lowering the individual input gain.
