A switchable filtered sidechain input allows you to use a signal with the low frequencies cut by a high-pass filter as a sidechain input. Because the gain control doesn't use low-frequency information, it reduces excessive influence of kicks and bass on compression. When the sidechain input is not patched, the main input is internally wired , allowing for sidechain compression using only the filter function with the same signal.
Blend controlThis allows you to mix the compressed and uncompressed signals for parallel compression.
