MUSICAL FEATURES

LP1 is a controller module that outputs a CV signal according to the gate and X, Y, Z (pressure) by pushing the surface with your finger and moving it.

LP1 has two quality modes, "High" and "Standard". In the High quality mode, only the X and Y values (finger position) are recorded, and the sampling time interval is 2 ms, so the change is smooth, but the Z (pressing pressure) value change is not recorded. In Standard quality mode, the sampling time interval is 15 ms, but changes in Z can also be recorded. The recording time for both is about 30 seconds. You can switch between the two modes by pressing the rec and mode buttons simultaneously.

Touch the white area to output the gate signal from the Gate output, and continue until you release your finger. The CVX and CVY outputs output a voltage that reflects the finger position, and the CVZ output outputs a voltage that reflects the pressure. If you touch the slider after pressing the rec / mode button to turn on the LED, that position will be held even if you release your finger from the slider.

With your finger on the slider, press the rec / mode buttonRecording modeEnter and press the rec / mode button to record CVX / CVY / gate movement for up to 4.5 seconds. It also records CVZ in Standard quality mode. Release the button to end recording. There is also a bonus mode in which you can change the gate output to the gate input and record with the gate signal by setting the jumper on the back.

The default orientation is such that the jack is in front (down). In order to keep the upper and lower sides of the slider display and the upper and lower sides of the output voltage the same even when installed upside down, short the "Board" jumper on the back.
