Time Slice is an audio looper/sampler module with four tracks of recording/playback and individual audio inputs.

The audio buffer is always recorded/played in sync with the BPM, and if the BPM changes, the playback speed also changes. The BPM can be synchronized with an external clock or MIDI clock. The time scale for loops and delays can be set in either measures or milliseconds, and when the time scale is set to measures, the timing is quantized to 1/8 beat when the loop length is changed.

The recorded audio buffer can be output via individual mono outputs or a stereo mix output via the TRS MIX OUT jack, and the input of each track can be configured to route audio from the output of other tracks or the mix output.

Each track has an independent FX chain, including a vintage-style pitch shifter, tilt filter, delay line, wave folder and reverb, which can also be used as a live FX chain.

The CV input and trigger input/output of each channel can be routed to various parameters such as filter, delay time, pitch shift, loop splice position, playback reset, recording, reverse playback, and pan. The attenuator knob provided on the M1 CV input acts as an offset when there is no CV input and can be used as a manual controller.

Parameter control via MIDI CC is also possible, and loops can be played as one-shot samples via MIDI notes, with a variety of control options including pitch/speed and multi-sample slicing. A circular LED display acts as an indicator for each track's status.
