Streams is a 2-channel "Dynamic Gate" module. In addition to the actual volume, frequency and compression also affect the volume of sound heard, but Streams also has a filter in addition to VCA so that they can be controlled well by one unit in an integrated manner. You can select compression mode, bactrol emulation mode, envelope follower mode, etc.

Each channel is composed of an analog voltage controllable filter and VCA, and the characteristics of VCA are continuously changed from exponential to linear. The gain of VCA can of course be controlled by CV through the LEVEL input, but Streams is unique because it can be used for various purposes."EXCITE" input.

The role of the EXCITE input will change depending on the mode selected with the function select button in the center.

• Envelope generator: EXCITE input isBuilt-inActs as a trigger for the envelope.
• Bactrol emulation: It becomes the mode which simulates the low pass gate digitally, and the EXCITE input becomes the CV input to the low pass gate.
• Envelope follower: An envelope is created that follows the signal to the EXCITE input, controlling the VCA and filter.
• compressor: In compressor mode VCF is disabled and the incoming signal is compressed. It is more effective to make VCA exponential. The EXCITE input is a side chain input to the compressor. Nothing is patched when not used as a side chain compressor.
