Manifold Research Centre's Tetragrid is a unique "anti-sequencer" influenced by the instrument philosophies of Ciat-Lonbarde and Meng Qi. The module uses a magnetic pin matrix interface, and some of the behavior of Tetragrid may be familiar to those who have used Peter Blasser's Plumbutter, Rollzer or Rollz-5.

At the heart of Tetragrid are six LFOs that can modulate each other. Two of them have tempo control, while the other four are completely free to run and are shaped by how they are connected. Even the smallest adjustments can result in the most dramatic changes, creating organic behaviors and idiosyncrasies within the circuits until they stabilize (or sometimes they never do). Tetragrid allows you to let go of control, enjoy unpredictable behaviors, and become immersed in the game between man and machine.
