MUSICAL FEATURES

Quad VCA is a 4-channel analog VCA mixer with unique features.

Each channel of the Quad VCA has an independent signal input, CV input, and signal output, with channels 2 through 4 being normalized to channel 1. To adjust the level and CV modulation of each channel, select the desired channel with the SELECT button, set the gain offset with the OFFSET knob, and set the amount and direction of the CV applied with the ATTN knob.

Sliding the SCAN switch to the right turns on SCAN , giving you access to two functions that vary depending on the patching. Inputting four signals and one CV, and monitoring the mixed output, results in a 4:1 SCAN . Alternatively , patching only the signal input and CV input of CH1 will make it function as a PAN , scanning up to four output destinations .

If you own one of the company's Varigate 4+ or 8+ sequencers, turning on the Remote switch enables the ability to save and recall multiple presets, such as channel levels and CV modulation amounts (100 presets can be saved on the Varigate 8+, and 16 on the Varigate 4+). Because it can handle not only audio but also CV, the possibilities for patching are expanded. It also has the following features:
