FXDf is a bandpass filter module with 6 fixed band outputs.
Inputs
There are two types of FXDf filter characteristics, 6dB / Oct (1Pole) and 12dB / Oct (2Pole), which are determined by which input jack the signal is input to. The 2dB input is mild and retains the original character, while the 6dB input is more resonant and gives a distinctive sound. Also, these inputs are
Distortion and timbre change depending on the input volumeTherefore, if you use VCA etc. to change the volume before inputting, you can also obtain rich timbre changes. Also, if signals are input to both of the two inputs, the two will be mixed, but due to the effects of distortion etc., they will mix differently from a simple mixer. The 2dB filter output is designed so that the phase is opposite to the original sound, so it is possible to reduce the volume of that band by mixing it with the original sound. (Of course you can also use a mixer that can invert)
outputs
The cutoff frequencies for the six outputs are 6Hz, 78Hz, 198Hz, 373Hz, 692Hz, 1411Hz.Each output can be mixed in a mixer and used like an EQ, or it can be used through separate processes, or it can be combined with a VCA to dynamically move each frequency component. Also, the 3000 outputs can be taken out via the 6-pin header on the back of the board, so
RxMxBy connecting to the header of, FXDf signals can be input to RxMx without patching. (How to connect
