Jacks & Knobs

LEDs

This LED shows the selected mode. When the LED is off, there are times when it is at the top and times when it is at the bottom.

Mode Control

A knob to select the mode and a CV input.Range -5V to 5V

Manual Button

This is the fourth input that is ON only while it is pressed. Conversely, in And and 4Low modes, it is ON by default and turns OFF when pressed.

Input Jacks

Three gate inputs. Each input is internally wired to the next input, and when patched, that signal takes priority.

Output Jacks

There are 3 types of gate outputs. Out is the main gate output that processes the input in the selected mode. Inv outputs the opposite (Not). For example, when in And mode, Nand is output, and when in Xor mode, Xnor is output. The FF (flip-flop) outputs a signal that switches ON/OFF every time the gate is output from the main output (clock divide of /2).

MUSICAL FEATURES

Logica Gater has been reduced to 5HPVoltage controllableIt is a logic module. It performs logic operations on a total of four gate signals (three jack inputs and one manual button) and outputs a 3V/1V gate. There are nine logic operations called modes, which can be switched using the knob and CV.As the knob moves from the extreme left to the right, the mode changes as follows:GATERis a special mode that is very useful when you want to add several gate sequences to trigger things like drums.Other modes such as 1HIGH and EVEN can be used in various ways.
  • WE: ON is always output. INV is always OFF.No inputs or buttons are affected. The LED will be above the AND and will not light up.
  • AND: ON is output only when all four inputs are ON. INV is a so-called NAND output. The button is ON when it is not pressed.
  • OR: If any one of the four inputs is ON, ON will be output.
  • XOR: With XOR, ON is output when one or more of all inputs are ON, but not all of them are ON.In this mode, the signal is first XORed between the three input jacks, then XORed again between that output and the button.
  • EVEN: ON is output when the number of ON inputs is an even number.
  • 1LOW: ON is output when only one input is OFF.The button turns on when not pressed.
  • 1HIGH: ON is output when only one input is ON.
  • GATER: If there is one or more inputs like OR, it will output ON, but if the gate is newly turned ON by some input while outputting ON, the output will be quickly retriggered. The image is similar to gate addition.
  • OFF: OFF is always output. INV is always ON.No inputs or buttons are affected. The LED will be below the GATER and will not light up.
Since each input is internally wired to the next input, the output changes flexibly depending on which input jack is used.It is also possible to simultaneously output an output that is an inversion of the main output (NOT) or an FF output that is an output that is like dividing the main output by /2.
