All major parameters are modulatable, powerful CV and GATE pattern generators allow for precise sequencing, and the built-in LFO can be synced, reset or free-running for groovy, off-the-grid beats.
Samples are organized into banks and can be selected/sequenced via knob or CV input from the built-in pattern generator or LFO.
You can even play the sound in reverse using the LENGTH knob and Wave Bard's unique reverse envelope!
This module is more than just a beat machine.
Play melodic samples in quantized scales and add color to your sound with built-in filter, delay, and chorus/flanger effects.
Additionally, the web-based app allows you to load not only your own samples, but also rhythm and scale data.

Send precisely generated USB MIDI data to your DAW or USB MIDI device, and discover new ways to play and interact through the modular interface.
The Citadel Wave Bard can also receive TRS MIDI from the front panel and send and receive USB MIDI via the USB connector on the back.

It also comes with a dedicated tool designed to make switching between panels as smooth as possible.
Additionally, the USB port on the back allows you to load and try out existing and upcoming firmware and updates for your Citadel/Kastle 2 immediately.
CITADEL is a modular reimagining of the popular semi-modular desktop device Kastle 2 for Eurorack.
CITADEL features a full 3.5mm patch bay, giving you the flexibility you need in the Eurorack format while still leveraging the strengths of Kastle 2. While it works well on its own, it really shines when patched with other modules.
Additionally, switches have been added to allow for intuitive operation of the pattern generator.
CITADEL provides all the essential elements needed for Eurorack system integration in electronic music production.
Features include headphone output, TRS MIDI input and sync function, tempo generator (with divider/multiplier), USB MIDI (via rear port), stereo mixing, built-in LFO and pattern generator, and effects.
