CITADEL FX WIZARDis a Eurorack module that allows you to explore the limits of sound processing through modulation and modularity.
Use nine sophisticated stereo effects or dive into the world of bold glitch and sound design with modulation.
Instead of switching between preset effects, you can create your own unique effects using modulation to creatively transform your sounds. FX WIZARD is a "multi-effect hero" that embraces "happy accidents" and develops unprecedented sounds you never imagined.

CITADELis a popular semi-modular desktop device calledKastle 2" is a model that has been rebuilt for Eurorack. CITADEL is equipped with a full 3.5mm patch bay, providing the flexibility required for the Eurorack format while still utilizing the strengths of Kastle 2. Therefore, it functions well on its own, and its true value is further enhanced by patching it with other modules.Pattern GeneratorA new switch has also been added that allows for intuitive operation.
Citadel provides the basic infrastructure needed to integrate a Eurorack system in the context of electronic music production: headphone output, TRS MIDI input and sync, tempo generator with divider/multiplier, USB MIDI (on the rear of the module), stereo mixing, built-in LFO and pattern generator, and effects functionality.
All of this makes Citadel an ideal module for small or beginner systems, while the unique fun and creativity of the Kastle 2 firmware – the multi-effects processor "FX WIZARD" and sample player "WAVE BARD" – make it a powerful addition to larger setups.

The effects are divided into three broad categories, each offering both precise parameter control and exciting extreme effects that are hard to find anywhere else.
DELAY FX Family :
It also has a clean stereo delay, a flanger with a stereo chorus effect (extreme settings are possible), and a FREEZER function that uses the freeze function to create creative moments.
AMPLITUDE FX Family :
It features an auto-panner that can also operate like ring modulation, a digital crusher with powerful feedback, and a rhythmic slicer that can create dynamic transients from any drone sound.
PITCH-SHIFTING FX FAMILY :
It includes a dirty pitcher that shifts the signal upwards in a tonal or rhythmic pattern, a replayer that reverses the audio while introducing a host of pitch-shifting artifacts, and finally a subtle shifter that creates detuning effects and feedback pitch slopes.
Effect parameters can be modulated using the built-in LFO or an incredibly powerful pattern generator.
It also includes an envelope follower for dynamic effects (such as ducking) that react to the input audio.
Each effect can widen the stereo field by detuning its core.FILTERSYou can also use the to brighten or darken the sound. All effects respond to triggers and clocks in a predictable yet exciting way.
