MUSICAL FEATURES

Bark Filter Processor is a signal processor equipped with 12 fixed bandpass filters. Filter bandBark scaleIt corresponds to the frequency band based on psychoacoustics (alternatively arranged), and the bands are arranged so that no masking effect occurs between adjacent bands and they are auditorily equidistant. I'm out. It is designed in this way so that the output signals from each band can be heard as sounds that are acoustically separated from each other.

The main output (All Out) from the filter is affected by the slider for each band, the volume CV input below the slider, and the Frequency Scan / Tilt control in the lower row. Even / Odd output is the sum of the filter outputs of only even / odd bands and outputs. Separate audio can be input to the Even / Odd band.Frequency ScanThen, mix only the output in the frequency band with a certain width centered on a certain frequency.TiltThe control transitions from a low frequency distribution to a high frequency distribution.

With the envelope follower output, it is possible to extract the volume change of each band as an envelope. The envelope output is also displayed on the LED below it, which acts as a simple spectrum analyzer. Also, on the right side, there is a switch that controls the volume of adjacent even bands with the envelope of the odd band, and vice versa. If you input different audio to the even band and the odd band, it will be a pseudo vocoder. However, it differs from accurate vocoding in that it has a small number of bands and maps the envelope between different frequencies. You can use two of these modules and patch the envelope output of each one of the 2 bands to another Level CV input of the same frequency to create a vocoder that maps between the same frequencies.
