2hp Slice is a compact beat repeat/glitch effect that adds clickless stutter, digital glitches and more to your patches.An onboard triplet switch lets you seamlessly add/remove triplets from a range of repeat sizes, making it easy to create trap-style fills.With an extremely wide repeat range and a CV/Gate input that allows for complex glitch sequences, the Slice has everything you need for glitching in the 3HP.

The Slice is a great effects unit that complements any single sound source, but when paired with, for example, the following modules from the same 2hp company, you can get interesting results while saving space.

2hp Rnd
is a random CV/gate generatorRndnot only can you clock Slice, but with gate and CV outputs synchronized to the clock from Rnd, you can take Slice from simple beat repeats to unpredictable, never-ending glitching experimental units. change it.

compact sample player,PlayCombined with , you can chop up and destroy vocals and beats. If you split the CV modulation in multiples and apply it to both Slice Size and Play Pitch, you can get interesting results where long slices are low and slow, and short slices are high and fast.

Trigger Gate In

Beat repeat is activated when the gate input goes high.when the module startsTrigBy holding down the button, you can toggle the gate response between latching and momentary.The threshold is 0.4V.

Trigger LED

Multi-colored LEDs to indicate the set operating mode of the gate, the speed of the clock, and the frozen state of the buffer.

• Green LEDs: clock speed
• White dim LEDs: Latching mode
• Purple dim LEDs: momentary mode

The green LED will always blink in sync with the clock.The white and purple LEDs that indicate gate mode illuminate when the trigger is active.

Trigger button

Manually activate Beat Repeat by pressing the button.

Triple Toggle

SizeAdds or removes triplet division/multiplication in the range of .The up position of the switch includes triplets, the down position removes them.

Size Knobs

Adjust the beat repeat size in relation to the clock speed.

Size CV In

Control the Size parameter with an external CV.The input width is -5V to +5V.

Audio out

Outputs an audio signal of 10Vpp.
