MUSICAL FEATURES
CHIMERA is a metallic noise percussion module that produces sound by combining metallic percussion sound samples with a granular synthesis engine. You can also use the Feel switch and Decay knob to create a continuous sound.
Chimera offers 11 metallic sound samples, such as tambourines, coins and boxes for effect pedals, and a Surface control that smoothly transitions between them. After that, it is applied to the granular synthesis engine to produce the decay portion, and the sound is further modulated by effects such as quality reduction, sample rate reduction, and comb filter. You can also use the Feel switch to create a sequence of different strength for each trigger, or extend the decay to create a drone.
Ideal for metallic industrial textures, hard hi-hats, and SE sounds.
