MUSICAL FEATURES

The Disting NT is the latest evolution since the original Disting was released in 2014. Based on 10 years of user feedback, the Disting NT is more powerful and easier to use than ever before. It features a larger screen, more powerful processing, improved connectivity and is just 25mm deep, making it skiff-case friendly. The module can perform many different functions within a modular synth, allowing for a wide range of uses depending on the user's creativity.

At launch, Disting NT comes with 50 algorithms including: Poly Multisample, Granulator, Audio Recorder, Mixer, EQ and Kirbinator, with more algorithms to be added in the future.

HOW TO USE

Like previous Disting modules, the Disting NT is equipped with a large number of algorithms. Algorithms are the building blocks in the Disting NT for processing the input signal. The concept of algorithms has been adopted from previous Distings, but this time all algorithms have been reconsidered to suit the new hardware. Also, while the algorithms in the Disting EX were divided into dual mode and single mode, in the NT all algorithms will be handled in a unified manner. For example, in the Disting EX there was an algorithm that used polysynth, chorus, and delay at the same time, but in the Disting NT these three functions can be selected separately, and by combining them you can achieve the same functions as before.

Disting NT loads as many selected algorithms as processing power allows,Connecting with each otherHowever, Disting NT is not a "virtual modular" so it does not use patch cables internally or edit patches on a computer. It is designed to be edited on the module itself.
