MUSICAL FEATURES

Instruo Carn is a 4-channel signal processing utility and mixer with unique features and independent outputs for each channel.Optimized for both audio and CV signals, Carn offers equal power panning VC panner, VCA, ring modulator and signal crossfader functionality in a compact stereo mixer format.

It functions as a traditional final summing stage mixer with a built-in stereo VCA, and can be seamlessly connected to a related Instruo stereo module via the stereo jack on the back of the module.

Unique features per channel

The signals of each channel are mixed and output from the stereo jack reflecting the pan and volume (the stereo output stage can also be controlled by the VCA).Each channel feeds the mono signal to be mixed into the first input, but the second input is used differently for each channel and is used for the following purposes:

1. CV input for VC panning on CH1 (bipolar)
2. Volume CV (unipolar) for CH2
3. CH3 is the modulation signal of the ring modulator (bipolar).
4. Another input for the crossfader on CH4 (bipolar)

Independent output and main output

Carn has separate channel outputs for further separate processing, send effects, cueing, etc.In that case, it's important whether the channel is removed from the main mix when patched for individual outputs, and in Carn it's a switch on the back.per channelcan be set to
