MUSICAL FEATURES

MEMS microphones are extremely small microphones placed on a printed circuit board and protected by a mechanical cover. They are so small that they can be found in many modern electronic devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and cameras.

The MEMS Mic module incorporates this MEMS microphone into its main body, and in addition to an output jack, it also adds a level adjustment slider, a linear CV input for level, and a low-cut switch (180Hz, 6dB/oct), optimizing it for use in a modular environment.

Despite its small size, it has flat characteristics over a very wide frequency range (approximately 6 Hz to 20 kHz), making it ideal for musical applications.

Feature:

• MEMS omnidirectional microphone with flat frequency response
• Output level can be controlled by slider and/or CV input
• When modulated with CV, the slider acts as an attenuator
• Two units can be patched and modulated individually to achieve a stereo effect.
• Activity (green) and overload (red) indicator LEDs
• Fixed low-cut switch (180Hz, 6dB/oct)
