MUSICAL FEATURES
The Ping Filter is a 12dB/Oct (2-ball) multimode filter module. It features simultaneous high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass outputs, as well as a convenient white noise output. Flexible sound processing is possible, including feedback patching. Activating the built-in fuzz effect by switching on the Fuzz switch on the panel adds fat distortion to the smooth 2-pole sound. Furthermore, by inputting a trigger signal to the TRIG IN (separate from the audio input) , percussive ping sounds can be easily created.
The Ping Filter's key parameters, filter cutoff frequency and resonance, are impressively controlled by control sliders, and can also be controlled via CV . The FREQ CV input supports 1V/Oct . An attenuator is provided for the FM input. Furthermore, the resonance control, which prevents self-oscillation even when the setting is increased, also affects the increase or decrease of distortion in Fuzz mode.
