MUSICAL FEATURES

The Cs-L is a complex oscillator that combines two types of analog oscillators and boasts a variety of tones. Unlike common complex oscillators, the Cs-L has wave folders on both oscillators. Also, the oscillator cores are different up and down, the upper oscillator A becomes a saw (sawtooth wave) core, the lower oscillator B becomes a triangle (triangular wave) core, in addition to the subtle differences in the basic waveform Is also different for both oscillators. Due to the difference in these structures and various routing options, a much wider range of tones is possible than with conventional complex oscillators.

  • Oscillator A: Sawcore analog oscillator. Five types of output can be taken out: sine output, triangular wave output, sawtooth wave output, pulse width controllable pulse wave output, and final output that has passed through the wave folder. In addition to the main folding amount, the wave folder can also control symmetry with the pot and CV. The speed can be switched to the LFO range with the button. FM can be switched between linear and exponential type. The Sync input causes a hard sync that resets the waveform.
  • Oscillator B: Triangle core analog oscillator. Five types of output are available: sine output, triangular wave output, pulse wave / sub-octave output, double pulse wave output with pulse width control, and final output that passes through a wave folder. In addition to the main folding amount, the wave folder can also control symmetry with the pot and CV. FM can be switched between linear and exponential type. The Sync input causes a reverse sync (soft sync) that inverts the waveform.
  • Modulation bus: The modulation bus, which is one of the main functions of the Complex Oscillator, also operates in a unique Cs-L mechanism. As you raise the Index knob from 1, the sine waves of oscillators A and B will modulate the other oscillator. You can select the modulation destination by holding down a button on the modulation bus and pressing another button. You can also make multiple modulations at the same time. The modulation destination settings are saved (digital is used only here) and you can start with the same settings after reboot.
  • Multiply output: This output produces a signal that looks like oscillators A and B are multiplied. The circuit to be multiplied can be selected from ring modulation (RING), AM and rectification circuit (RECT). The input to this circuit can be overwritten by a patch to another signal instead of the oscillator
  • Link button: By pressing this button it is possible to track two oscillators with one 2V / Oct input. In addition to applications such as Unison, when you're using a modulation bus to modulate between two oscillators, turn Link on to change the pitch while maintaining the waveform.
