Fluctuating Random Section

This section outputs a continuous curve voltage that moves randomly. There are two independent lines. The speed of random movement can be controlled with the knob and CV, and when the knob is at maximum, the output becomes an audio rate of 2 kHz and it also functions as a noise source.

* With this module, random that can control the distribution cannot be directly extracted, but by branching the output of Fluctuating Random with Stackable, etc. and self-patching to the CV input of the Fluctuation Rate of that channel, there is a fluctuating random with a biased distribution. Can be created. For example, if Rate is minimized and the self-patched CV's Attenuverter is moved all the way to the right, it will take a shorter time to output a higher voltage than if it was not self-patched.
 

Quantized Random Section

Each time a trigger signal is input to the Trigger, a value is randomly selected from the fixed voltage values ​​and output. 2 ^ n output has 2 to n (knob label value) power types, and n + 1 output has n + 1 types.
 

Analog Shift Register (ASR) / Sample & Hold (S & H) Section

In this section, each of the four channels acts as an ASR or S & H.

If the trigger input for each channel is not patched, the output from the previous channel will be shifted (analog shift register function) each time a trigger is input to the leftmost Trigger jack / button.

The channels patched to the individual trigger inputs are not part of the analog shift register, but are independent sample and hold, and each time a trigger is entered, the signal to CV In is sampled and output until the next trigger arrives. That voltage is retained.At this time, if it is not patched to CV In, the input to the previous channel will be internally connected, so it is also convenient to sample and hold the same signal at different timings.

* With sample and hold and analog shift registers, the voltage difference between the input and the sampled output is not completely zero.When using it for an accurate pitch, etc., pass it through a quantizer as appropriate.
