Tiny MIDI Breakout (TMB) is an expander module that provides a 3.5mm TRS MIDI jack. Expert Sleepers Distinguished mk4, Disting EX, ES-9, General CV, FH-2By connecting the MIDI Breakout header on the board and the jack on the TMB, you can perform MIDI input / output with each module via the TMB.There are 6 input / output jacks, and MIDI input / output with the above various modules can be combined into a TMB.Modules with similar MIDI breakouts can be used by other manufacturers (Michigan Synth Works F8R, etc.).
In the example belowWhen using a Type A 3.5mm MIDI cable, the connection is shown when the top socket is MIDI in and the one below it is MIDI out.The color of the cable may differ from the one in the photo, so please read from the correspondence of each pin.If desired, the cable can be split into two bidirectional cables.The cable is commercially available under the name "DuPont Wire" and can be easily obtained from Amazon etc. in Japan. Use a 2 mm socket, female-female.
