MUSICAL FEATURES

MetaButtons is an expander that adds eight buttons to your MetaModule. You can connect up to four MetaButtons, giving you the flexibility to expand your setup as needed. Within MetaModule, each MetaButton can be mapped to a virtual button, a switch of any size, or even a knob. You can also customize the behavior of each button within MetaModule, choosing between toggle and momentary mode.

A single MetaButton can control up to eight virtual parameters, allowing you to operate multiple functions with a single press.

MetaButtons provide powerful and flexible control to take your patches to the next level.

Connection method

Power down the module and connect the end of the 12-pin ribbon cable to the pin header labeled "Toward MetaModule" on the Metabutton module board, making sure the red stripe faces the white stripe on the board.

Connect the other end of the 12-pin ribbon cable to the included adapter board (already connected at the time of purchase).

Connect the adapter to the header labeled "Control Expander" on the MetaModule main board. Connect it in the orientation shown below.

How to connect multiple Metabuttons

To connect multiple MetaButtons, use a 12-pin cable to connect the "Toward Expanders" header of the MetaButtons module connected to the MetaModule to the "Toward MetaModule" header of the MetaButtons module you want to add. Continue adding MetaButtons in the same way, and you can connect up to a total of four MetaButtons.

If you connect multiple MetaButtons, you will need to change the jumper settings on the MetaButtons board to distinguish between the modules. Set them as shown in the image below. MetaButtons 1-8 are the first, 9-16 are the second, etc.
